There are moments in our faith journey when we feel like we’re standing on the sidelines—watching, waiting, wondering when God will call us back onto the field.
Today was one of those moments for me.
I found myself praying a simple but honest prayer:
“Father, please don’t leave me on the sideline.”
Not because I doubt Him.
Not because I’m ungrateful.
But because deep within my heart, there is a longing to be used—to walk fully in the purpose He placed inside of me.
If you’re in a waiting season today, don’t lose heart.
Sometimes the sidelines are simply where God prepares us for the next play.
And when the time is right,
He will call you forward.
Scripture for Reflection
“Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.”— Psalm 27:14
Take a moment to reflect:
• What season of life are you currently in?
• Has God ever used a season of rejection to prepare you for something greater?
• What might He be teaching you in this waiting season?
Write it down, pray about it, and ask God to reveal what He is doing behind the scenes.
